3/10 Making the Gums

Today I work on the building my dentures by making the dentures themselfs. I got a piece of wax and then I mash down the wax on the inside of the module's roof . From here I cut the other wax around the module off and put the wax roof module in the module. 

3/5 Building the case mold

Today, I work and finish building the case mold for my project. What the case mold does is that it hold the module in place while I work building the deture part of the project I have add a picture to show what it looks like. 

2/24 No work due to illness

Hey guys, I am here to update on my senoir project. I am not going to my mentor this week at all because I am sick with a cold. I am hoping to be able to go next week, until then see ya. 

2/19/09 Getting started

Today I have started my senoir project and all in all, I think it went well. What I did today was I stuck the bite on the module, which means I put a  piece on wax on the module, so that it could bite on the module. 

The Paper and the Product 2/13/09

Today is Friday, so now I will bring you up to speed on what I'm doing. I am currently working on my senoir paper with my academic coach, Mrs. Olson, and so far it's going good. I am also beginning to work on my product with my mentor. I hope to have both my senoir paper and product done by the end of April, but I am not sure that will happen. I will just have to wait and see.

Rough Draft 2/05/09

Today, I turned in a rough draft copy of my research paper. I was able to finish the last of it last night. My english teacher, Mr. Beane, review my paper and that all I need to do is go back and work on formatting and "say what I want to say." I plan to work and fix thoses problems on my paper, so that I can do a good job.

Research Paper 2/4/09

Today, I am working on my research paper. I need to have a good rough draft copy for tomorrow and I only have a few more pages to go. I will be finishing up the paper today as soon as I get home from school. So just wish me luck

Mentor 1/12/09

Today I found someone who has agreed to be my mentor for my senior project. His name is Keith Howell and he makes dentures as a career. Mr. Howell, in my option, will be a good mentor and help me on my senior project.

Academic Coach 1/9/09

Today I got an Academic Coach for my senior project. She is my former History teacher Ms. Olson. The reason why I choose Ms. Olson as my academic coach because I have a study hall class with her. By having a study hall with Ms. Olson, I will be to work with Ms. Olson on my project and helping me turning papers in.

My Graduation Project Idea 1/6/09

My idea for a graduation project is to make false teeth. I have not found anybody yet to be my mentor on the graduation project but still searching. I hope to found and have a mentor by the end of the week. To make the false teeth, it would probably take me a couple of months, but I am ready for the challenge.
